Member in the News: Memorial Hospital’s Community Health Associates welcomes 3 new physicians

Larry McCullough, MD, OB/GYN,  Timothy Powell, MD, OB/GYN, Marc Alpert, MD

 

Dr. Larry McCullough has delivered more than 1,000 babies so far in his career, including his 13 year-old daughter in 1998.  He is a graduate of the West Virginia University School of Medicine and completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Howard University in Washington, D.C.  He has 18 years of clinical experience involving high risk obstetrics, obstretric emergencies and gynecologic laparoscopic surgery as well experience in the management of menopausal care, preventive annual examinations and adolescent medicine to name just a small part of his expertise.

Dr. McCullough joined Memorial Hospital’s Community Health Associates LLC in November 2011.  He is now accepting new and established patient apppointments.  Same-day appointments are usually available.

 

Dr. Timothy Powell is a graduate of the New York University School of Medicine, New York, NY.  He completed his medical residencies at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, and Jersey Shore University Hospital, Neptune, NJ.  Dr. Powell is available for same-day appointments to diagnose and treat conditions of the female reproductive system.  He may also serve as a woman’s primary care physician.

Dr. Powell is now accepting new and established patient appointments.

 

Dr. Marc Alpert brings over 30 years of surgical experience providing both vascular and general  surgery.  He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA, and completed his surgical internship at Boston University Medical Center. He completed surgical residencies at Boston University Medical Center and Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY.  Dr. Alpert completed his Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Newark, NJ.

Dr. Alpert is now accepting new and established patient appointments and will start seeing patients on February 2.
